Justin Francis- Pastor
I was born in Poplar Bluff, and spent most of my life here in the area. I did leave for a time to get my Bachelors degree in the humanities from Boyce College and my Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville Kentucky. My wife (Sarah) and I actually got married at Emmanuel. She is also from poplar Bluff. We both love Doniphan and the surrounding area. We am excited to see God work through Emmanual Baptist Church as we seek to spread the gospel throughout Ripley county.
Kevin Payne- Secretary
Kevin was born and raised in Doniphan. He has been a member of Emmanuel for over 20 years, and is a Deacon and also teaches Sunday school. “I’m excited to be a part of the church family at Emmanuel and look forward to seeing God move in our church and community and invite everyone to come be a part of our family.”

Some of you may know me because I was your "Choir or General Music Teacher" here in Doniphan or at Poplar Bluff Middle School. The younger members of our community may know me as their "Swimming Teacher"! My #1 passion in life has always been to "Be a Light for Kingdom work in this dark world" whether I'm in a classroom or the grocery store and to make a positive impact on others by encouraging them to develop a SOLID relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
One of my favorite Bible passages is Philippians 4:4-8. "Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known unto God. And the PEACE of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things."
